The 942 sq ft figure is the larger-area rating at two air changes per hour, not the same measurement as the 312 to 538 sq ft rating. Xiaomi’s own specification sheet lists coverage area as 900 sq ft, and the product marketing rounds the 2 ACH figure to 940 sq ft, so the three figures come from different measurements rather than describing the same thing.

Sensors & Display

Five sensors feed the readout: PM1, PM2.5, a dust and allergen sensor, temperature, and humidity. Readings are tracked in real time and shown on an LCD colour screen on the unit.

App & Voice Control
