The RVC 3 Comfort 1.269-123.0 Robot Vacuum and Mop is rated at up to 15,000 Pa of suction, with four suction modes to choose from. It can clean hard floors and low-pile carpets, and a carpet sensor is available that can detect the floor type.
Both the main brush and the side brush use a comb-tooth structure to keep hair from wrapping around them. Karcher says this cuts down on manual brush cleaning, particularly in homes with pets.
After each run, the robot docks and empties its 240ml dust container into the base station’s 2.5-litre fleece filter bag. Karcher states the sealed bag holds dust, pollen and pet dander for up to 60 days of cleaning before it needs replacing.
A LiDAR laser navigation system is available, that can scan rooms in real time to build maps, and works in complete darkness. Fall sensors keep the robot away from stairs and drops.
Through the Karcher app, owners can set virtual boundaries, no-go zones and room-by-room schedules, with multiple timers supported. The robot can be connected over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and has voice output for status updates. Karcher states the device complies with European data privacy standards.
The RVC 3 Comfort can run in dry, wet or combined cleaning modes. For mopping, a wiping unit clips on and draws from the 280ml fresh water tank, which shares a 2-in-1 container with the 240ml dust compartment. The robot damp-mops hard floors while it vacuums.
A 2.6Ah lithium-ion battery gives up to 130 minutes of cleaning per charge, and the robot returns to its base to recharge on its own. A full charge takes 230 minutes. Karcher rates the area coverage at 45 m² per hour, depending on the cleaning mode, and the sound power level at under 67 dB(A).
