4K Front, 2.5K Rear and 1080p Cabin Recording
All three cameras on the boAt Hive Dashcam F1 Pro record at the same time. The front unit captures 4K Ultra HD, the rear camera records at 2.5K, and the in-cabin camera records at 1080p. The cabin camera attaches magnetically, so it can be fitted only when needed, for example on cars used for ride-hailing.
The front lens covers a 150° field of view.
Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 Sensor
The front camera uses Sony’s STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor. boAt says it improves clarity in tunnels and on early-morning or late-night drives compared with standard sensors.

3.18-inch IPS Display and Voice Commands
A 3.18-inch IPS display on the body shows the live feed, plays back saved clips and gives access to settings without a phone. A built-in microphone takes voice commands to switch between front, rear and cabin views, turn the screen on or off, take a photo or lock the current recording. The same microphone also records in-cabin audio.
Built-in GPS and 5G Wi-Fi
The built-in GPS module logs location, speed and route data with the footage. boAt notes that the GPS is for route logging, not real-time tracking. For file transfers, the dashcam creates its own 5G Wi-Fi hotspot that a smartphone connects to directly, with no internet connection needed.
Storage, Loop Recording and G-Sensor
The dashcam takes Class 10 U3 microSD cards of up to 512GB. Loop recording overwrites the oldest footage once the card is full. A G-sensor locks and saves the clip when it detects a sudden impact, and its sensitivity can be set to Low, Medium or High so that speed breakers and rough roads don’t trigger it. The rated operating range is -20°C to 70°C.
