The motor is a 3.5HP peak brushless unit, which Boldfit says runs quietly enough for home and office use. Speed tops out at 8 km/h, so the Boldfit DayWalk covers walking and light jogging rather than running.
Incline is set by hand, with two levels to pick from. Boldfit pitches the raised setting for working the lower body and burning more calories than flat walking.
The running belt measures 960×380mm and uses a multi-layer build that the company says absorbs impact. Maximum user weight is 110kg.
A full-length LED display shows time, speed, distance and calories burned during a session. Speed changes are made from the supplied wireless remote, so there’s no handrail console.
When it’s not in use, the walking pad rolls on built-in transport wheels and can slide under a bed or sofa, go into a closet, or stand upright in a corner.
