OnePlus has launched the N6x ‘budget’ Android Smartphone in India. The price for this smartphone starts at Rs.18,999 (Lowest Price on August 4, 2026) for the 4GB + 64GB configuration, with the 4GB + 128GB configuration at Rs.20,999. The MRP price is Rs.26,999 and Rs.28,999 respectively.

Key highlights include the 7000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor, a 6.8-inch 120Hz LCD display, and MIL-STD-810H with IP64 rated construction.

The OnePlus N6x is available in two colour options: Ice Blue and Burgundy Red.

4GB RAM only – that’s bad for a smartphone priced at this range – however, this is due to the ongoing RAM price crises caused by AI demand. It’s not just OnePlus affected.

Performance, Memory and Storage

Running the show is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex platform, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked at a maximum 2133MHz (4266Mbps peak data rate, 2×16-bit). Storage uses UFS 2.2 on a single-lane HS-G3 interface.

The device is available in two configurations:

4GB + 128GB

RAM expansion is supported through one method, adding 1GB, 2GB or 4GB of virtual memory on top of the physical 4GB. The spec sheet lists a 13,280 mm² heat dissipation area; OnePlus markets this as a 5300mm² cooling system in its retail listing.

On software longevity, OnePlus certifies the 4GB + 128GB configuration for 48 months of smoothness and the 4GB + 64GB configuration for 36 months.

6.8-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD Display

The panel measures 17.30 cm (6.8 inches) with an HD+ 1570×720 resolution, working out to 254 PPI at a 19.6:9 aspect ratio. Screen-to-body ratio is listed at 90.4%.

Refresh rate tops out at 120Hz, with switching between 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz plus a Smart Switch mode that changes the rate automatically. Brightness is rated at 700 nits typical, rising to 900 nits in high-brightness mode.

Display controls include an eye protection mode, colour temperature adjustment, dark mode, automatic brightness, and Vivid or Natural colour modes.

Camera

A single 13MP CMOS rear sensor handles stills, with an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, autofocus and up to 10x digital zoom. The front camera uses a 5MP sensor, also at f/2.2.

Wireless covers Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) across 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, with 802.11a/b/g/n and WLAN tethering also supported. Theoretical maximum data rate is listed at 0.4 Gbps.

Bluetooth audio supports SBC, AAC, LDAC, aptX, aptX HD and LHDC 5.0, with HFP, HSP, A2DP, AVRCP, HID, PAN, OPP, MAP, PBAP and GATT protocols. Network sharing over Bluetooth is supported.

Battery & Charging

The 7000mAh battery charges at up to 15W (5V/3A). Wired reverse charging runs at 5W (5V/1.0A), and bypass charging is supported. OnePlus states the cell is optimised for up to six years of battery health.

Durability

The OnePlus N6x carries MIL-STD-810H certification for shock resistance alongside an IP64 rating covering dust ingress and water splashes.
