Apple’s Mac mini (2026) models ( MHQK4HN/A / MHQL4HN/A / MHQM4HN/A / MHQN4HN/A ) are now available to pre-order in India online. The price starts at Rs.99,900 (Lowest Price on August 31, 2026) for the entry M6 configuration, rising to Rs.2,09,900 for the M5 Pro model.
Key specs highlights include the 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU M6 chip, the up to 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU M5 Pro chip, Thunderbolt 5 on the M5 Pro model, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and 2.5Gb Ethernet with a 10Gb option.

Pre-orders opened on August 25, 2026. The Amazon India listings state the item will be released on September 23, 2026, while Apple’s own press release puts availability from September 22. Amazon does not publish the memory and storage split that separates the three M6 configurations, so the difference between them shows only in the price at the time of writing.
What We Like About the 2026 Mac mini

The M6 Chip
The M6 brings a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU, two more cores each than the previous generation. Every GPU core now carries a Neural Accelerator, which is new to Mac mini at this tier, and the chip pairs that with an all-new Dual 16-core Neural Engine.
Memory starts at 16GB of unified memory and is configurable to 32GB, with bandwidth up to 170GB/s.
Apple states the M6 delivers up to 4x faster AI performance and 2x faster graphics than the Mac mini with M4, up to 40 percent faster CPU performance, and up to 2x faster storage. According to Apple, the Dual 16-core Neural Engine is up to 2x faster than the previous generation.
Apple’s published comparisons for the M6 model, all from its own February 2026 testing:
- Up to 13.5x faster LLM prompt processing in LM Studio against the Mac mini with M1, and up to 4.8x faster than M4
- Up to 2.3x faster spreadsheet calculations in Microsoft Excel against M1, and up to 1.5x faster than M4
- Up to 2x faster gaming with ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition against M4
The M5 Pro Chip
The M5 Pro configuration steps up to an 18-core CPU and a 20-core GPU with an enhanced shader core and third-generation ray tracing. Neural Accelerators sit in each GPU core here as well.
Unified memory goes up to 64GB with 307GB/s of bandwidth.

Apple’s stated comparison baselines are a Mac mini with M1 (8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB RAM, 2TB SSD) for the M6 figures, and a Mac mini with M2 Pro (12-core CPU, 19-core GPU, 32GB RAM, 8TB SSD) for the M5 Pro figures.
Ports and Connectivity

The headphone jack carries high-impedance headphone support. Both models drive up to three external displays.
Wireless is handled by the Apple-designed N1 chip, covering Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
Two connectivity features are new. Genlock support over USB-C allows a display and a camera to be synchronised precisely, including the iPhone 17 Pro. On the M5 Pro model, Apple says Thunderbolt 5 lets several Mac mini units be clustered together to run large AI models entirely on device.
Design and macOS
The chassis measures 12.70 cm x 12.70 cm (5.00″ x 5.00″). Apple has not published a height or weight figure in the material available.
The 2026 Mac mini ships with macOS 27 Golden Gate, which brings Siri AI, Apple Intelligence features across everyday apps, and interface changes to Liquid Glass including uniform toolbars, edge-to-edge sidebars and updated window shapes. Apple Intelligence supports 16 languages at launch, and Apple notes some features may not be available in all regions or languages.
Environment
Apple states the new Mac mini is made with 50 percent recycled material overall, including 100 percent recycled aluminium in the enclosure and 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets. The company says all electricity used to manufacture it is sourced from renewable energy across the supply chain, and its paper packaging is 100 percent fibre-based.
