Lenovo has announced the ThinkBook 16 G9 IPL Gen 9 Series model online. These are powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processor (series 3) with up to 49 TOPS supported. It uses integrated Intel Graphics.

Processor and Graphics
The Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G9 (Gen 9) series is powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 processors from the Series 3 lineup. Available CPU options include the Core Ultra 5 325, Core Ultra 5 332, and Core Ultra 7 355 variants.
These models are positioned as Copilot+ PCs and ship with either Windows® 11 Pro or Windows® 11 Home.
Display Specifications
These laptops come with 16-inch display options in either WUXGA (1920×1200) or WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution.
- The WUXGA panel is available in both touch and non-touch variants.
- Touch-enabled WUXGA models offer 100% sRGB color gamut coverage.
- The higher-resolution WQXGA display also supports 100% sRGB.
Both the touch WUXGA and non-touch WQXGA options feature a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, while the non-touch WUXGA panel is more basic, with 45% NTSC color coverage and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
RAM Memory and Storage Features
The ThinkBook 16 G9 IPL (Gen 9) series comes with two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, supporting up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory.
For storage, it offers flexibility with support for up to two M.2 SSDs:
- One M.2 2242 drive slot (up to 2TB)
- One M.2 2280 drive slot (up to 2TB)
This allows for a maximum total storage capacity of up to 4TB across two drives.
Battery and Power Supply
These laptops either ship with a 71Wh Rechargeable Li-ion Battery or a 48Wh Rechargeable Li-ion Battery. For charging, it ships with 65W USB-C® (3-pin) AC adapter or a 65W USB-C® slim (2-pin, wall-mount) AC adapter.
