Many Indian tech websites are reporting that the Google Fitbit Air is launching in India soon, based on an Amazon.in listing.
However, this listing doesn’t appear to be an official Google launch. The product is currently not being sold by Appario Retail, which is typically one of Amazon India’s primary sellers for newly launched consumer electronics.

If you’re planning to buy the Fitbit Air in India, it may be worth waiting for an official announcement from Google. There’s a possibility that the current listing is for an imported unit being sold at a premium, and it may not include official Indian warranty coverage or after-sales support.
The lowest price for Google Fitbit Air sold by this seller at the time of writing is ₹20,999. In the US, the price starts at $99 – that’s approximately Rs 10,000 in India – so the pricing is definitely not correct in our opinion.
