OnePlus 15 India Launch Date has been revealed. According to the Amazon.in promo page, it will launch on November 13, 2025. OnePlus has already launched this phone in China, so we know almost all the specs.

While every new flagship phone these days outperforms the previous generation’s camera hardware, OnePlus has faced criticism for launching the new OnePlus 15 with inferior camera hardware compared to its last flagship, the OnePlus 13. Display has seen a downgrade as well. More on that later.

So why are people unhappy with the OnePlus 15 Specs?

First, tech reviewers and OnePlus fans are concerned about the display. While it’s the first OnePlus phone with a fast 165Hz refresh rate, the resolution is lower than the previous OnePlus 13 ( 1272 x 2772 pixels vs 1440 x 3168 pixels )

Then, the cameras. While the main camera on the OnePlus 13 featured a 50MP 1/1.43″ F1.6 aperture, the newer model has a smaller 1/1.56″ 50MP sensor with a slower F1.8 aperture lens.

The periscope telephoto lens has more reach (3.5x vs 3x), but it now uses a smaller sensor compared to the last-gen OP13. The same goes for the ultra-wide-angle lens — it is slightly wider, but again, it uses a smaller sensor.

OnePlus 15 no longer uses Hasselblad-branded cameras – or at least the branding is gone. Consequently, Hasselblad Master Mode and related color science are gone, replaced with OnePlus’ in-house processing algorithm.

We don’t yet know how much these issues will affect sales. However, the specs scream performance — it should top benchmark charts, with a large battery and super-fast charging support ensuring excellent endurance.

While the camera hardware downgrade might seem negative on paper, OnePlus could still deliver better image quality than the OnePlus 13 through software optimization.
