HP has launched two new budget Chromebook 14 models in India online ( August 2026 update ) These are the HP Chromebook 14-nm0004MU (DF3R6PA#ACJ) and HP Chromebook 14-nm0006MU (DF3R9PA#ACJ). Both models offer similar specifications and features, with prices starting at ₹27,990. At the time of writing, Amazon.in has both models in stock, currently sold by our recommended seller, Clicktech Retail Private Ltd.
HP Chromebook 14-nm0006MU vs HP Chromebook 14-nm0004MU: What’s the difference?
The primary difference between these two models is that the 14-nm0006MU (DF3R9PA#ACJ) features a touchscreen display, while the 14-nm0004MU (DF3R6PA#ACJ) does not. Apart from this, the specifications are identical.
Both entry-level Chromebooks are powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor and come with 4GB LPDDR5-6400 RAM and 128GB UFS storage.
The laptops feature a 14-inch HD (1366 × 768) anti-glare display with 250 nits of brightness and 62.5% sRGB color gamut coverage. Graphics are handled by the integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The available I/O ports include:
- 1 × USB Type-A (5Gbps)
- 1 × USB Type-C (5Gbps) with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 support
- 1 × 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack
For wireless connectivity, both models are equipped with MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7920 (2×2) and Bluetooth 5.4.
For video calls, HP includes an HP True Vision 720p HD camera with temporal noise reduction and integrated dual-array digital microphones.
Both models are powered by a 47Wh 2-cell Li-ion polymer battery and run Google ChromeOS. HP also bundles a 1-year Google One subscription with 100GB of cloud storage.
The laptops weigh approximately 1.35kg.
