What We Like About the ASUS ProArt P14 and ProArt P16 (RTX Spark)
- NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X (20-core Grace CPU + 6,144-core Blackwell GPU): CPU and GPU on one superchip, linked by NVIDIA NVLink-C2C
- Up to 128GB of unified memory: shared between CPU and GPU, which ASUS says lets larger AI models run locally on the laptop
- ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touchscreens at 120Hz: 3K on the P14 and 4K on the P16, both up to 1600 nits HDR peak with an anti-reflection coating
- 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD on every configuration: no 512GB base model among the four Canadian listings
- MIL-STD 810H tested: ASUS rates both machines to the US military durability standard
NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X Superchip
The RTX Spark N1X is NVIDIA’s first superchip for Windows laptops. It combines a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU (Arm-based) and a Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores in one package, connected through NVLink-C2C. Instead of separate system RAM and VRAM, the CPU and GPU draw from a single pool of LPDDR5X unified memory, up to 128GB.
NVIDIA lists the N1X GPU with fourth-generation RT cores and fifth-generation Tensor cores, plus DLSS 5 support. In laptops, the chip runs at a 45W to 80W power range. NVIDIA also offers a lower N1X configuration (18 CPU cores, 5,120 CUDA cores, up to 32GB), but all four ProArt listings here use the full 20-core / 6,144-core version.
Unified Memory & Storage
The four listings cover three memory sizes: 32GB (ProArt P14 H7407BA-DH92T-CA), 64GB (ProArt P16 H7607BA-DH94T-CA) and 128GB (ProArt P14 H7407BA-DH93T-CA and ProArt P16 H7607BA-DH93T-CA). ASUS positions the larger memory options for running bigger AI models on-device, citing lower cloud costs, keeping files and prompts local, and the ability to customise models and tools.
Storage is a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD on all four.
ASUS Lumina Pro OLED Displays
Both machines use ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touchscreens with an anti-reflection coating, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1600 nits HDR peak brightness and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
- ProArt P14: 14-inch 3K (2880×1800) OLED, 88% screen-to-body ratio
- ProArt P16: 16-inch 4K (3840×2400) OLED, 90% screen-to-body ratio
ASUS’s spec pages list 100% DCI-P3 colour and stylus support on both panels.
