It bundles the MISSION 1 PRO camera with the accessories GoPro sells separately for the MISSION 1 line.
Key specs highlights include the 1-inch (1.0-type) image sensor, 8K video with Open Gate full-sensor capture, 50MP still photos with 44MP frame grabs, and a 2150mAh Enduro 2 battery paired with the Volta 2 grip that GoPro rates at over 9 hours of continuous 4K30 recording.

It is larger than the sensors used in most mobile phones and some compact cameras ( point and shoot ), and that the extra sensor area produces less noise in low light. Separately, 44MP frame grabs can be pulled out of 4:3 8K video through the GoPro Quik app, so a still can come from footage already shot rather than from a dedicated photo.
