MSI India has launched the Modern 15 B12MO-1007IN business laptop model powered by Alder Lake 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U 10-core processor and integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics online at a price of Rs. 42,990 ( Amazon.in Freedom Sale 2024 Offer Price ). The MRP list price is Rs. 60,990. The processor has 2 P-cores and 8 E-cores and supports a max turbo boost clock of 4.4 GHz.

It comes with 16GB of RAM ( DDR4-3200, onboard ) and 512GB SSD storage ( 512GB*1 NVMe SSD PCIe Gen3 ). It is one of the few laptops priced under Rs 50,000 available in the Indian market that comes with 16GB RAM and Core i5 12th Gen Processor.

Apple Maps Web on Ubuntu Linux – Here is how to make it work

Apple has officially announced Apple Maps Beta for the Web aka Desktop. You can visit the web link at http://beta.maps.apple.com/ to see the web version of the Apple Maps. However, it is not supported on all browsers.

According to the official Apple post, Apple Maps Web is currently supported on the following browsers and platforms

On your Apple Mac or Mini

  • Safari
  • Edge
  • Chrome

On Windows

  • Edge
  • Chrome

As you can see, if you are using Google Chrome on Ubuntu Linux, by default you won’t be able to access the Apple Maps.

However, there is a very simple trick to change that. Check out the video below to know more, or read the steps to take for Apple Maps to work below.

Simple Trick to Make Apple Maps Work for on unsupported Google Chrome Linux
  1. Open http://beta.maps.apple.com/ in a Google Chrome Windows
  2. Right-click and click on Inspect.
  3. Now change the device to Apple iPad Pro from the list
  4. Then visit http://beta.maps.apple.com/ again and close the side panels. You will be now able to use Apple Maps on Ubuntu Desktop Browser.
