GoPro’s latest launch isn’t another action cam – it’s the Fluid Pro AI, a 3-axis gimbal like the DJI Osmo Gimbals, and GoPro claims this to be smarter than your average stabilizer. Listed on Amazon US for $229.99, this thing’s built for creators who juggle multiple cameras and need gear that just works.
At the time of writing, it is not listed online on Amazon India or the UK, but we expect it to be available in these countries soon, within the coming weeks.
What’s the Big Deal?
Most gimbals do one job: stabilize. Fluid Pro AI does that, sure, but then throws in AI subject tracking that has the ability to lock onto faces and bodies without losing them mid-shot. The tracker module can mount forward or rear-facing, and there’s a built-in fill light because apparently GoPro knows shooting in your poorly-lit apartment is a thing.
It can handle phones, GoPros, and compact cameras up to 400 grams. Swap mounts, switch devices, keep shooting.
GoPro Fluid Pro AI 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for GoPro Cameras and Smartphones, Subject Tracking, Lighting, Wireless Camera Control, Portable, Vlogging, 360° Rotation, Device Charging
by GoPro
- Professional 3-axis gimbal with interchangeable mounts works with mobile phones, GoPro cameras and some compact point-and-shoot cameras
- Forward- or rear-facing AI subject tracker module locks onto a person's face or body to automatically track them in the frame with precision
- Integrated fill light helps balance the light in your shot for more professional results

The Specs That Matter
The GoPro Fluid Pro AI offers excellent battery life.
- 18 hours (gimbal only)
- 11 hours (gimbal + AI tracking)
- 6 hours (everything cranked to 100%, including fill light)
And yes, it doubles as a power bank because your phone will die mid-shoot.
What’s in the box:
- The gimbal (obviously)
- AI tracking module
- Phone mount
- GoPro mount
- GoPro finger adapter
- Tripod base
- Charging cables ( Gimbal USB-C Charging Cable, Camera USB-C Charging Cable )
- Zippered case

Who’s This For?
Vloggers. Content creators. Anyone shooting solo who’s tired of their subject walking out of frame. The hand gesture controls mean you’re not fumbling with buttons, and wireless camera control (for compatible GoPros) keeps things moving.
GoPro compatibility note: Bluetooth features work with HERO9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 Black.
GoPro also launched the MAX2 (their next-gen 360 cam with Emmy-winning tech, $499.99) and LIT HERO (a tiny lifestyle cam with built-in light, $269.99).
