If you have been frustrated with Honor not updating their Honor 200 Indian Model ( ELI-NX9 ) with the latest Magic OS 9 based on Android 15, you would be happy to know Honor has finally started rolling out the update to Indian models. The exact updated version number is 9.0.0.135(C56E4R2P1). The update size is 3.16 GB. Make sure you are on WiFi and have enough battery before updating.

- Leap screening mode provides you with a seamless conversation translation without tapping on any interface, making chat through text and screen convenient. Try it out by going to Settings > HONOR AI > AI Translate > Home screen shortcut.
- Knock and connect. Give with your knuckles, swipe, record gestures and gives you quick access to key information and apps.
- Integrated with services such as Google Translate, Google Search, YouTube, TikTok and Booking services to provide you with a more personalised, multi-service, and community-based experience.
Magic Retouch
- Activate AI Cutout by pressing and holding on a subject during photography, and place it into other selected scenes. You can also share the generated cutout as an image.
- GIFs are supported. AI cutout helps you blur the background with just one tap. With Shine boost, skin is enhanced, and it provides sharp separation between the background and subjects.
AI Office
- AI Notes can help you with recording, voice-to-text, and real-time translation.
- AI Minutes allows you to generate meeting minutes with a single tap. Meeting recording now includes foreign language recognition capability. You can emphasise it by creating a new recording or text notes.
- AI Summary can intelligently generate note summaries, and AI Format allows you to format text with a single tap. You can copy the notes more easily and quickly analyse the key points. Try it out by going to Notes > New typed notes > AI Notes > AI Summary/AI Format.
More Optimisations
- Touch and hold the navigation bar or the Home button to drive content on your screen for searching. It works better by going to Settings > System supports > System navigation > Circle to Search.
- Quick commands control panel allows you to directly adjust the volume for incoming calls, messages, notifications, alarms, and more.
- Supports multiple features in the Settings > Sounds and vibration > App volume control.
- Prioritise personal hotspot private network connection, reduce delay when using apps.
- Settings > Mobile networks > Personal hotspot > Prioritise in scan or hotspot.
- Smart home air conditioner and heater switch off method. It will automatically switch off heater or air conditioner if the phone is not in a specified location. Proceed to hotspot > More > Duration.
- AI-enabled Health Reduction lowers smartphone power consumption and extends battery life. Try it out by going to Settings > Battery > Battery optimisation.
- Smart Remote now includes timer function on air conditioner and the controlling of electric fan.
Notes:
- The download and installation process of the new version will consume some battery power and cause slight heating, which is normal.
- During the restart after the installation, some system optimisations will be performed, expected to take 1-5 minutes. Please be patient.
- After the upgrade is completed, some system applications will automatically proceed to the optimisation process. This may increase the experience in accessing power management. Keep the device charged and on during this period to prevent power drain.
- It is recommended to merge the phone with the usage of the new system to obtain the best experience. Some third-party apps may not be compatible at this stage. Please ensure that such apps are updated to the latest version.
- The update will not affect your personal data, but it is recommended to back up any important data before updating.
